Founding and operating Brevity taught me how to build a company from nothing: product, brand, capital formation, and team building, carried from a blank page to a live product in a brutally competitive market. S3 sharpened the craft of story — how a brand earns attention and holds it. The institutional capital work, across family offices, venture capital, and wealth-management practices, gave me financial fluency and the discipline to raise and deploy real money. And the long years of work at home taught me the slowest lesson of all: patience with land and with people, and the development of trust that can only be earned over time.
Underneath all of it runs a single standard: build only what's meant to last — not things that simply exist, but companies and commitments engineered to compete at the highest level and to outlast the season that made them. That bias toward durability is what ties a travel app, a branding studio, a capital practice, and a region together. None of them is a project with a timetable. Each one is built to compound for decades.
And beneath the standard is the foundation. My faith is the why under all the what — the conviction that the work should serve something larger than itself: the flourishing of the people and places I belong to. None of those pieces, on their own, would have made the next thing possible. Together, they made it inevitable.
